As part of an academic career, one is expected to maintain a curriculum vitae, Latin for "course of life." Meant to reflect one's life's work, it is a forum to demonstrate your merit.
My worth has nothing to do with my work. We all are deserving of love and dignity and the basic necessities to thrive, regardless of our "contributions." My life's purpose is far greater than what can be written in a document; it is the totality of my experiences, my self-reflections, my relationships. I have always maintained that should I never practice under the title of "naturopathic doctor" ever again, I am infused with those principles, and attempt to walk a life of integrity. That being said, here is my CV, for those who are interested. |
